According to Law 31/1995, of November 8, 1995, on Occupational Risk Prevention, collective protection must always prevail over individual protection (epis). This consideration also implies a procedure of action in preventive matters of obligatory compliance:

When it is not possible to completely eliminate a risk, collective protection shall be provided.
