PREVENTION OF PEDESTRIAN COLLISIONS IN HEAVY VEHICLE TRAFFIC AREAS

A regular client contacted us to analyze possible solutions to the risk of being run over at the main entrance to their facilities.
As an area with a high traffic of people and heavy vehicles and with multiple intersections, they had detected the need to increase safety to prevent possible accidents.

In order to reach a consensus on a corrective action plan, a visit was made to examine the risk areas in situ and a technical proposal was prepared and validated.

This project included the installation of flexible barriers to correctly channel pedestrian traffic, and the installation of intelligent gates to control crosswalks. Safedoorto control the crossing of vehicles and people in an area with poor visibility.

This combination of industrial solutions succeeded in mitigating the risk of being run over while defining safe and clearly delimited paths for vehicles and people.
