SYSTEM FOR LIMITING ACCESS TO THE FORKLIFT TRANSIT AREA

The client needed to restrict access from a production area to a storage area where there was a risk of being run over. This would prevent a pedestrian from accessing from production to the warehouse in case of the presence of vehicles.

It was also a very important requirement for the client to continue to maintain visual contact between the two zones.

After a detailed study of the available options, and combined with the installation of flexible protections, it was decided to install an automatic barrier with;

• Motion detectors for forklifts.
  • Automatic opening and closing control automatism.
  • Anti-pedestrian safety skirt.
